This completed renovation boasts a timeless elegance. The clean and airy white cabinets contrast beautifully against the warm walnut island, while the light oak hardwood floors give a natural charm to the space. The classic subway backsplash, with variations of white, ties the elements together, harmonizing with the white cabinets and countertop. Large glass pendants hang over the island, casting a soft glow, while a lantern chandelier in the dining area provides the space with a touch of rustic elegance. To complete the look, we incorporated a vintage cabinet to mix and layer traditional and modern elements. Found at a consignment store, the cabinet was refinished with a fresh coat of paint while keeping the original exterior wood stain untouched to honor the beauty of the original piece. This immediately adds charm and personality, and it’s the perfect final touch for this remodel!
