Hello!

I’m Julie, the founder of HiLo Decor. The doors to my home interior decorating business officially opened in January of 2016 after leaving behind my former career as an occupational therapist and then as a stay-at-home-mom.

My approach to design is to splurge on key furniture pieces and then complete the space with affordable accent pieces and decorative accessories. With stores like Home Goods and Target, it is doable to decorate and personalize your home without breaking the bank. My personal philosophy is to live comfortably without sacrificing style and not at great expense. That is how I came up with my business name, HiLo Decor!  

Aside from a passion for interior decorating, faith and love have always been integral to me and my family. My husband and our two rapidly growing kids enjoy spending time together hiking the trails in the summer and skiing in the winter. We also participate in long-distance endurance sports, which keeps us young! Not to be forgotten is our lovable and silly Boxer, Lulu, who occupies the spotlight in our home. You’ll occasionally see her pop up on my social media because, like I said, she likes to be the center of attention!
