Whispering Creek, Golden
A master bedroom retreat with soft, peaceful colors and cozy textures makes for the perfect place for rest and refuge.
Before and After
“Everything can go” was my green light to make big changes to this bedroom. I did manage to repurpose one mirror… hey, every dollar counts! It now hangs above a slim cabinet that suits the narrow hallway to the bedroom much better than the original cabinet, which was too deep and short for the space. With its relaxed linen, the plush upholstered bed creates an inviting and comfortable spot to recharge. It also includes storage underneath, making up for losing the wide, oversized dresser that crowded the available space. For wall decor, intentionally layering light-colored baskets that almost blend in with the wall offers just the right amount of style, texture, and dimension, all without taking away from the design of the gorgeous, modern sliding door. The door was custom-made and painted to complement the colors of the serene artwork and vintage-inspired rug.
