Aviator Central Park, Denver
The addition of a fireplace instantly transforms this family room into a warm and welcoming space, layered with texture, pattern, and natural finishes throughout.
Before and After
Love It or List It! That was this homeowners’ dilemma—but after much thought and not wanting to leave their beloved neighborhood, they decided to Love It by making some big changes to the living room.
The most noticeable feature is the addition of a gas fireplace, which homeowners desired for Colorado’s cold winters. We wrapped the fireplace with large, textured chevron tiles and flanked the fireplace with cabinets for much needed storage. The modern yet rustic floating shelves and mantel adds the perfect amount of warmth, while the contrasting dark accent paint accentuates the white fireplace surround and cabinets. To top it off, we added a Frame TV. No more staring at a black box; instead, the displayed artwork gives the space an element of life. The other major changes were replacing the well-used furniture with more tailored and contemporary furniture pieces, installing a chandelier for moodier lighting, and adding a fresh coat of off-white paint to brighten the entire room.
